The Labour Court recommended that pay for Head and Senior Attendants at the National Museum Of Ireland be adjusted in line with the Cpsu’s proposal. The recommendation, signed on 30 July 2009, said the union’s position was reasonable and normal assimilation guidelines should apply. The union supported an independent report proposing the Head Attendant be placed on the Higher Executive Officer scale and Senior Attendants on the Executive Officer scale; the employer argued the roles were comparable to lower grades and the claim would be too costly.
