The Labour Court recommended that Dynea Ireland Ltd pay two craft workers the outstanding €1,000 each for changes to their working conditions. The recommendation was signed on 9 October 2008. It brings their one-off compensation into line with the €3,500 payment applied to operative grades. The Technical, Engineering And Electrical Union also sought involvement for the craft workers in annual bonus discussions. The company agreed to involve them, and the Court recommended that it confirm this in writing to the union and the Court.
