The Labour Court recommended that the National Youth Council Of Ireland carry out a new, transparent job evaluation using a quantitative system, after finding that the earlier exercise did not show the numerical values used to weight jobs. The recommendation was signed on 18 December 2007. The Court recommended that the exercise be conducted professionally, with appropriate consultation with the Irish Municipal, Public And Civil Trade Union, and that both parties aim to complete it by the end of March 2008.
