Labour Court recommends third-party review of Breeo Foods worker’s disciplinary appeal

The Labour Court recommended that Breeo Foods Limited take part in any third-party investigation sought by a worker appealing disciplinary sanctions. The recommendation was issued on 11 December 2007. The worker, represented by the Dairy Executives' Association, had received a final written warning. The Court said the disciplinary procedures had not followed the company’s own rules or the Code of Practice on Grievance and Disciplinary Procedures, but made no finding on the issues behind the disciplinary action.
