The Labour Court recommended that the National Gallery Of Ireland accept a proposal allowing Gallery attendants to receive 60% of a potential retrospective payment. The recommendation was signed on 12 December 2005. The Services Industrial Professional Technical Union sought full retrospective payments under an earlier implementation proposal. The Gallery said workers had sought pay-scale improvements while impeding agreed changes to work practices.
