In 2004, the Labour Court recommended that Kerry Agri Business offer a seasonal relief driver €1,700 in full and final settlement of his back-pay claim. The recommendation was signed on 9 March. The Services Industrial Professional Technical Union said a shortfall remained due for 1996 to 1999 under the milk collection payment arrangements; the company said he had been paid everything due and that its transport manager could not agree a separate payment. The Court considered the conciliation proposal a fair compromise.
