The Labour Court recommended that a standard compensation package apply to three Roscommon County Council workers if their overtime fell below the regular and rostered level previously available. The workers’ union, the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union, sought compensation after Saturday refuse collection in the Boyle area was privatised. The Court noted that alternative overtime had been made available to the workers.
