In 2001, the Labour Court recommended that An Post remove a restriction that would prevent senior staff choosing individual remuneration from using the Labour Relations Commission or Labour Court for pay disputes. The Court considered An Post compliant with the Postal and Telecommunications Services Act, 1983, and said the Transformation Through Partnership Agreement remained in place. The Association Of Higher Civil & Public Servants ( Ahcps) had opposed individualised pay arrangements outside collective bargaining.
