The Labour Court recommended that Warner Lambert increase its offer for overtime losses at its Ringaskiddy plant to £45,000, to be divided among employees as the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union decided. It rejected the union’s separate claim for compensation for disruption from construction work. The Court also recommended applying the consolidated shift rate from 1 July 1999, in full and final settlement of the retrospection claim. The recommendation was signed on 17 April 2000.
