The Labour Court recommended that Trinity College Dublin concede the Building and Allied Trades’ Union’s claim for two extra days of annual leave for craft workers. The recommendation was dated 7 October 1999. The union argued that three days under the 1997 Analogue Agreement were privilege days, separate from annual leave, and that workers should receive the statutory annual leave entitlement as well. The Court agreed with the union’s interpretation of the agreement.
