The Labour Court recommended that Coca Cola Bottlers Ireland Limited and the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union discuss claims by 26 Sales Developers for higher bonuses, clothing allowances and continued access to saloon cars. The recommendation was dated 7 December 1998. The Court said the discussions should also address proposed job changes, with both sides seeking an accommodation. If they did not reach agreement, the Court said it would make a definitive recommendation.
