Labour Court says worker succeeded in claim against Office Of Public Works

In 1998, the Labour Court said a worker had succeeded in a claim against the Office Of Public Works over lost earnings after a transfer from Rialto to Dun Laoghaire. The worker had lost access to overtime and a driving differential at the new workplace. The Court was satisfied he had now been offered compensation on a similar basis to a colleague who had received compensation. Its recommendation was signed on 17 November 1998.
