Labour Court recommends Bus Eireann worker be placed on CO3 grade

In 1996, the Labour Court recommended placing a worker at Bus Eireann on the CO3 grade on a personal basis from 1 June, and that she apply for and accept the next CO3 vacancy. The recommendation was signed on 11 June. The worker said she had not been promoted during 22 years with the company and had been denied the chance to apply for a senior post. Bus Eireann disputed that she had performed senior officer duties and said vacancies had to be advertised and filled through its grading process.
