The Labour Court recommended that Foley's Public House pay a part-time waitress £30 in full and final settlement after finding she had not been given her employment terms or rate of pay and had been treated abusively. The recommendation was signed on 17 January 1995. The employer did not attend the hearing, so the Court heard only the worker's evidence. It took the short period of employment into account when setting the recommended payment.
