In 1994, the Labour Court considered disputes involving Dublin Bus, Services Industrial Professional Technical Union and National Bus and Rail Union over feeder buses, route-change compensation and Sunday rosters for temporary drivers. The Court said existing feeder-service terms should apply until alternatives were agreed. It found there were reasonable grounds for compensation for route changes and recommended talks on a reasonable payment. On Sunday rosters, it said staff should not be paid for work not done, but recommended exploring how to apply the five-week average of £209.01 under normal pay rules. The recommendation was signed on 1 December 1994.
