In 1994, the Labour Court recommended that Paragon Security pay £500 compensation to a security guard it found had been unfairly treated after her dismissal. The recommendation was dated 7 October 1994. The guard had been working at Lotus Development Ireland when an Irish flag was reported missing. She said she did not know how it went missing and had cooperated with the company’s investigation. Paragon Security did not attend the hearing.
