In 1994, the Labour Court recommended pay adjustments for three workers at Lough Credit Union Limited. Its recommendation, dated 5 July 1994, set the manager/financial controller’s salary at £24,200 and increased the finance officer’s salary by £1,000, both from 1 December 1993. The Services Industrial Professional Technical Union had sought higher pay for the manager/financial controller and finance officer, and a full-time rate plus arrears for the administration officer. The Court recommended a £500 ex-gratia payment to settle the administration officer’s arrears claim and noted that agreed part-time salary scale terms would be applied in due course.
