In 1994, the Labour Court rejected Manufacturing Science Finance's claim to restore the pay differential between Central Bank Vault Officers and Senior Executive Officers. The recommendation was signed on 24 March 1994. The union said the differential had eroded after a 1988 pay agreement gave Senior Executive Officers an additional increment. The Bank said there had never been a fixed relationship between the grades.
