The Labour Court recommended that the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union accept Boxmore Plastics Limited's interpretation of a works agreement on paying wages. The recommendation was signed on 12 November 1993. The dispute concerned 15 workers after Boxmore switched from cheques to direct bank payments. The Union said the agreement let workers choose how to be paid and that some instead had to collect bank drafts. The Court found the agreement gave the Company the option to choose the payment method.
