In 1993, the Labour Court did not recommend in favour of a worker who said Lotus Development Ireland Limited had unfairly dismissed him. The Court considered him unsuitable for the work and said the company was entitled to let him go after his probation was extended and he did not respond to training. Its recommendation was dated 20 April 1993.
