Labour Court finds worker unfairly dismissed and recommends £1,500 payment

In 1991, the Labour Court found that a worker had been unfairly dismissed and recommended that Securicor Omega Express pay her £1,500. The recommendation was dated 18 October 1991. The worker said she was told there was no longer a position for her after asking about returning to work. The company said her position became redundant and that her selection was fair because of her short service and attendance record.
