The Labour Court recommended phasing in the remaining 80 hours of overtime allowance for six Arklow technicians in two equal parts, on 1 March 1991 and 1 March 1992. Manufacturing Science Finance sought the phases from 1 January 1989, with retrospective effect. Irish Fertiliser Industries Limited had proposed three instalments beginning in 1991. The recommendation was signed on 19 April 1990.
