Labour Court rejects Bathcare worker’s unfair dismissal claim

The Labour Court found that an unnamed worker’s claim of unfair dismissal against Bathcare Limited had not been sustained and did not recommend compensation. The recommendation was signed on 25 October 1988. Bathcare said the worker’s sales had declined and were not covering his costs. He argued that his sales were comparable to a colleague’s and that he had been unfairly selected for dismissal.
