The Labour Court recommended a lump sum equivalent to 104 weeks’ loss of earnings for nine attendants when new working arrangements were implemented at Mid-Western Health Board. The claim was brought by Irish Transport And General Workers' Union. The Court said the Board should decide staffing levels and grades and recommended no change to its proposals on those matters. The recommendation was signed on 22 September 1988.
