By Eimear Byrne

Labour Court ·

The Labour Court recommended that Irish Rail and the C.I.E. Shop Workers Trade Union Group divide savings from productivity agreements 70/30 in favour of employees for agreements already implemented, and 50/50 for those agreed and implemented from 11 May 1988. It also recommended a £100 payment to each operative directly involved in the retrospective claim, in a dispute concerning about 650 engineering operatives.
