WRC makes no recommendation on four disputes after worker misses hearing

The WRC made no recommendation on four disputes after the worker did not attend the hearing. In a recommendation dated 14 July 2025, adjudication officer Penelope McGrath said the worker did not attend and did not substantiate the disputes raised in advance. The merits were not decided. The worker’s pre-hearing correspondence raised concerns about the employer’s bullying and harassment procedures and internal acting-up arrangements. The employer said it had treated the worker with dignity and respect and within the relevant employment legislation.
