WRC sends worker’s restructuring dispute back to parties

The WRC remitted a worker’s dispute over restructuring back to the parties after she had not used the employer’s internal procedures. The recommendation was dated 17 December 2025. The worker said restructuring abolished her job and moved her to a new post and location without answers to her concerns. The employer said the initiative was implemented under agreed arrangements and that the worker had union support. The officer said internal procedures must be exhausted before bringing a dispute to the WRC and was precluded from making a recommendation.
