WRC makes no recommendation on worker’s dispute over treatment by head chef

The WRC made no recommendation on a worker’s dispute over her treatment by a restaurant’s head chef. The recommendation was dated 11 February 2025. The worker had raised several workplace issues, mainly about the head chef, and had also brought complaints under other employment laws. The employer denied that any issues had arisen. The WRC said those complaints had already been investigated and decided, so it would not make an overlapping recommendation. It also said the worker no longer worked for the employer.
