WRC makes no recommendation on worker’s dispute after internal procedures were not used

The WRC made no recommendation on a worker’s dispute over an investigation meeting, safety standards and training after he accepted that he had not used the employer’s internal procedures. The recommendation was dated 20 May 2025. The worker said the investigation was unfair and coercive, safety standards had been breached and training was inadequate. The employer denied the allegations. The WRC did not decide those underlying issues because they had not been addressed through internal procedures.
