WRC finds worker resigned and received pay in lieu of notice

The WRC found that a worker had resigned and was paid in lieu of working her notice, rather than being dismissed. In a recommendation dated 5 December 2025, the adjudication officer found there was no dispute between the worker and the employer and made no recommendation. The worker said she had raised interpersonal difficulties with colleagues before resigning. The employer said she chose to finish work early and receive pay for the rest of her notice period.
