WRC recommends against worker whose grievance process was unfinished

The Workplace Relations Commission did not recommend in favour of a worker whose internal grievance process remained unfinished. The recommendation, dated 20 March 2025, followed her referral of the dispute before exhausting the employer’s procedures. She accepted that the internal investigation was ongoing, while the employer argued the procedures should have been completed first. The adjudication officer concluded that she could not intervene while the process remained incomplete and found the dispute not well founded.
