WRC recommends no further action in worker’s dismissal trade dispute

The Workplace Relations Commission recommended no further action in a worker’s trade dispute over her dismissal, after she had already succeeded on a separate statutory complaint concerning the dismissal. The recommendation was dated 18 November 2025. The worker submitted that she was unfairly terminated after working for the employer for around 10 weeks. The employer did not attend the hearing. The adjudication officer said a further recommendation under the Industrial Relations Act 1969 was not appropriate.
