The Workplace Relations Commission recommended that a charity shop review its Dignity at Work policy and update manager training after a worker raised concerns about bullying and victimisation. The recommendation was dated 8 August 2024. The worker said the policies were not being implemented and people could be victimised for raising concerns. The charity shop agreed to review the policy and arrange updated training. The adjudication officer said the parties had shown a willingness to engage and recommended the review be completed by 1 November 2024, with training for all managers by 31 January 2025, emphasising prevention of complainant victimisation.
