WRC recommends closing social care worker's dispute over misconduct investigator

The WRC recommended that a social care worker close his dispute over the investigator appointed for a workplace misconduct inquiry. The recommendation was dated 25 March 2024. The worker believed the investigator had a conflict because the investigator had previously examined a complaint he made. The charity said the investigator was fair and unbiased. The officer noted that the worker had not exhausted the charity's grievance procedure before referring the matter to the WRC. As he had since left the job, the officer recommended that he deem the matter closed.
