The Labour Court allowed Business Information Bureau's appeal and set aside a Rights Commissioner's decision directing it to pay Ms Dolores Ryan £380 in holiday pay. The determination was signed on 28 June 1999. Ryan said she was owed holiday pay after working for the company from 25 August 1997 to 20 May 1998. The Court found that absences after her third month of employment counted as annual leave. She had received 20.5 days, more than her 15-day entitlement, so the complaint was not well founded.
