Labour Court upholds dismissal of Ion Tataru’s working-time complaint

The Labour Court upheld the dismissal of Ion Tataru’s complaint under the Organisation of Working Time Act 1997. Its decision is dated 3 March 2026. Tataru told the Court that Northway Personnel Limited had required him to work night shifts while it placed him with a client company, and that he often faced unsafe conditions. Northway did not appear at the appeal. The Court found that Tataru’s evidence did not identify a stateable breach of the Act, found the complaint not well-founded and dismissed the appeal. No award is recorded in the decision.
