The Labour Court directed C.T. Ortho Limited to pay Mark Curley €3,000 under a Rights Commissioner decision the employer had not carried out. The determination was signed on 16 December 2013. Curley brought the matter under section 28(8) of the Organisation of Working Time Act, 1997. The Court recorded that no appeal had been brought against the earlier decision within the time limit and directed the employer to pay Curley in accordance with it.
