The Labour Court awarded Zbigniew Pachuta €250 after granting an extension of time and upholding his claims for three days’ annual leave and notice of overtime. It set aside the Rights Commissioner’s decision. The determination was signed on 15 November 2010. The Court rejected his holiday-pay and public-holiday-pay complaints because he had already been compensated for the unlawful wage deductions under the Payment of Wages Act. Steel Industries Rathcoole Limited did not attend the hearing.
