The Labour Court allowed Puran Singh to rely on alleged working-time breaches in the 12 months before he presented his complaint. The preliminary determination was signed on 12 November 2010. Singh had appealed a Rights Commissioner’s decision concerning his hours, rest periods, Sunday premium and annual leave against Devi Singh T/A India Link. The employer said it had afforded him his statutory rights throughout his employment. The Court left the substantive complaints and any redress for later consideration; the merits were not decided.
