The Labour Court allowed St Angela’s College’s appeal and set aside a Rights Commissioner’s recommendation to upgrade a worker to Higher Executive Officer grade. The decision was signed on 12 November 2010. The Court found that the worker’s 2007 salary adjustment had settled the regrading claim in full, and that she knew of the Mazars report’s recommendations when the agreement was made. It also said granting the claim could lead to similar claims across other posts covered by the report, so it could not be treated as a minor claim under the Public Service Agreement 2010–2014.
