The Labour Court overturned a €2,500 award to Radoslaw Orlowski after allowing his employer O' Sullivan Tyres Ltd's appeal. The Rights Commissioner had awarded the compensation over claims about rest breaks and working hours. The Court found Orlowski received the required rest breaks and that he was not required to work beyond the 48-hour weekly limit. It said the employer's records were inadequate, but preferred its evidence on working hours. The determination was signed on 21 September 2009.
