The Labour Court struck out Jeremy Tilley’s appeal under the Organisation of Working Time Act after he failed to attend the hearing to present evidence. The Court’s determination was signed on 24 December 2007. Tilley appealed a Rights Commissioner’s decision concerning his working-time complaint against Kayjay Hotel & Resorts Ltd. The Labour Court said both parties had been notified of the hearing, but neither attended. The appeal was struck out; the merits were not decided.
