The Labour Court reduced Rob Stronge’s holiday-pay award from €1,119 to €876.02 after P.R.Reilly Limited appealed. The determination was dated 9 September 2004. Stronge said his final pay did not include holiday pay. The company said it had paid €1,269.74 towards statutory entitlements and offered a further €136.68 after reviewing its calculation. The Court found he was entitled to two weeks’ paid leave for six months of work and calculated the award from his monthly salary.
