WRC rejects receptionist’s constructive dismissal claim after dispute over earlier awards

The WRC found that a receptionist was not constructively dismissed after she resigned over delayed payment of an earlier €800 award and a €1,500 recommendation. The decision was dated 21 September 2026. The medical practice said it paid the €800 compensation and €1,314.89 for annual leave on 27 November 2025, then paid the €1,500 recommendation in March 2026. The adjudication officer found the receptionist resigned before the appeal period expired, had not returned or sought to return to work, and raised no grievance before resigning. The complaint was not well founded.
