The Workplace Relations Commission found Sven Strauss’s minimum-notice complaint against Tiktok Ltd. was not well founded in a decision dated 30 July 2026. Strauss argued that a flaw in the notice process moved him beyond probation and entitled him to one month’s contractual notice pay. Tiktok Ltd. said he received one week’s pay in lieu, which it considered his statutory and contractual entitlement. The WRC found he had received written notice and the statutory payment, and that the alleged process flaw did not establish a complaint under the legislation.
