The Workplace Relations Commission ordered Sky Handling Partner Limited to pay Jake Mc Daid €1,120 for annual leave the company treated as taken and did not pay when his employment ended. The decision was dated 6 August 2026. Mc Daid said 80 hours of approved leave should have been restored while he was suspended, after a manager assured him it would be. The company argued the leave had been approved and taken and that his complaint was late. The WRC accepted his evidence and found the complaint was within the six-month time limit.
