WRC rejects Sonia Cassius-Clay’s race discrimination and victimisation complaints

The Workplace Relations Commission found Sonia Cassius-Clay’s race discrimination and victimisation complaints against Global Professional Consultants not well founded in a decision dated 23 April 2026. Cassius-Clay alleged that a prospective employer withdrew a job offer because of her race and that recruitment contact later stopped. The company denied the claims. The adjudicator found insufficient evidence linking the treatment to race and said she had made no protected act to the company before March 2025, a prerequisite for victimisation.
