The Workplace Relations Commission declined jurisdiction over Jose Felix’s complaints against Ventside Unlimited Company, finding that he freely signed a binding settlement waiving his claims. The decision was dated 6 July 2026. Felix alleged discrimination, penalisation for raising concerns and reduced January wages. He said financial hardship and unpaid wages pressured him to sign. Ventside said the pay reduction reflected absences without valid medical certification. The adjudication officer found no evidence of coercion or deliberate withholding of wages and noted Felix had been advised to seek independent legal advice but chose not to. The WRC did not rule on the substance of the complaints.
