The Workplace Relations Commission found Aldi had not engaged in prohibited conduct after Bridget Mongan alleged discrimination over a receipt check at a self-service till. Adjudication Officer Breiffni O'Neill dated the decision 11 August 2026. Mongan said a security guard asked to see her receipt and that she was asked to leave after questioning the check. She did not attend the resumed hearing or present evidence; Aldi also presented no evidence. The officer found she had not established a prima facie case of discrimination.
