WRC awards Gemma Turner €2,085 in minimum notice claim

The Workplace Relations Commission directed Solis Gmc Children's Services Limited to pay Gemma Turner €2,085 after finding her complaint for statutory minimum notice pay following redundancy well founded. The decision was dated 4 February 2026. Turner said she was available to work during her notice period but was not paid for it. The company disputed her account, saying she had been offered work at Killeagh House and did not attend. The adjudication officer accepted Turner's evidence that she was available and had been told to leave the premises.
